Pre-StringMath Summer School

17-21 of July 2017
Hamburg

The interaction between string theory, quantum field theory and mathematics has produced important new ideas and progress. This school will consist of five courses on topics of current interest from these areas, and is aimed at PhD students and postdocs with some background in mathematics and mathematical physics.

Registration and financial support:

The deadline for registration has passed and registration is now closed.

Venue:

The summer school will take place in the Hörsaal 2 of the Department of Mathematics, Bundesstr. 55, of the University of Hamburg. Here is a map. The closest metro station is "Schlump" on the red line U2 and the yellow line U3. The train station "Sternschanze" (train lines S11, S21 and S31) is also in walking distance. Dinner:

The dinner will be Wednesday evening at 19:00 at the Gröninger Brauerei, Willy-Brandt-Straße 47. The food has been pre-ordered at the restaurant, please remember what you had chosen at registration. Here is a [map].
