Summer School on Quantum Groups and Integrability –
Algebraic, Analytic and Geometric Aspects
July 21-25, 2014
Hamburg
The aim of this summer school is to educate
PhD students and young researchers in modern methods and promising
mathematical research directions related to the theory of integrable
models. The topics we plan to cover include in particular
- the theory of quantum affine algebras,
- q-characters,
- functional relations,
- Baxter Q-operators,
- applications to the study of integrable quantum systems.
The chosen dates (July 21-25 2014) fall into the week after the
IGST (Integrability in Gauge and String Theory) conference
at DESY Hamburg, which will hopefully allow for useful synergies.
The summer school is funded by the
Research Training Group 1670
"Mathematics inspired by string theory and quantum field theory". It is a joint activity of
the Research Training Group 1670,
the Collaborative Research Center 676,
the GATIS Training Network,
and the Center for Mathematical Physics Hamburg.
